How we work with you
We help clients to organise their financial lives in such a way as to maximise the opportunity of achieving what is most important to them and their families. We work with those clients to ensure their plans and resources continue to be aligned with their goals and values.
Initial meeting
A high level view of where you are and where you want to be and a discussion of what we can do to help you.
Financial meeting
We need to gather accurate information on your current
situation, values and details, including fund choice, charges
and structures of all your existing financial plans as well as
gain an understanding of your attitude to risk.
With your authority we will liaise with your existing
providers to get all this information.
Aims and goals meeting
A longer meeting, usually with both partners or spouses. The aim is to discuss what you really want, what is really important to you and your family now and in the future, so we can establish key objectives.
Strategy
A synthesis of the financial information with life goals to produce a draft strategy document outlining the actions to be taken and investments to be made to help move towards the agreed goals.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
Implementation
Putting the plan into action. Making appropriate investments,
establish Wills and Trusts and protection strategy if
appropriate.
This will happen over a period of time.

The writing of a Will involves the referral to a service that is separate and distinct to those offered by St. James's Place.
Wills and trusts are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Review, monitor & report
At least two formal meetings a year and any ad hoc ones as required to ensure the plan is working. We will review investment performance and asset allocation, and also your goals and plans as these develop.
